Taco Bell is turning to TV commercials to battle damage to its image from a lawsuit questioning its taco filling.
Many people have heard the rumors and jokes about fast food chains not actually using real meat in their products. But a new class-action lawsuit, filed by the Montgomery, Ala.-based law firm Beasley Allen on behalf of a California woman, accuses fast food chain Taco Bell of deceitfully calling its taco filling “beef” when less than 40 percent of it is actually composed of real beef.

Rendered and chemically processed slaughter house floor scraps, and genetically modified soy meal, with modified corn starches, fake sweeteners, carcinogenic colorants and flavors, and chemical binders with water, is what this stuff really is….parallel to canned pet food, and use of the term ‘food’ is extremely loose.

It was reported last week that a recent multi-state outbreak of salmonella had been linked to food sold at Taco Bell. So it should come as no surprise that a lawsuit has been filed against the fast food chain over the incident.
