The members of the American Medical Association and their drug manufacturer sponsors do not make money unless you are sick or on their drugs; this is a FACT. 

It is also a FACT that genetic modification of anything is health harming, at any level of ingestion, period.

Ergo (‘therefore’ for those of you who did not take Latin), the AMA is merely lobbying to harm you!

Drugs warning — check the label

A new study highlights inconsistencies in black box warnings – medication-related safety warnings on a drug’s label – and argues for a more transparent and systematic approach to ensure these warnings are consistent across all drugs within a same category, and any additions to warnings, on the back of a drug withdrawal for example, are done within a reasonable and uniform time period. The work by Orestis Panagiotou and John Ioannidis and colleagues from the University of Ioannina School of Medicine in Greece and Stanford University School of Medicine in the USA is published in Springer’s journal Journal of General Internal Medicine.

ScienceDaily (Apr. 14, 2010) — Label directions for using some household pesticides are written in a way that may leave consumers with the impression that “if a little is good, more is better,” according to a study presented March 22 at the 239th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS). As a result, consumers may use excessive amounts of pesticides that could subject family members and pets to increased exposures.
