Processed and industrialized meat an poultry and pork are full of nitrites, nitrates, phosphates, acids, genetically modified starches, bad for you sweeteners, guns, colloids, preservatives, MSG, stabilizers, birth defect and cancer causing artificial colors, hormones, steroids, antibiotics, genetically modified feed grains, modified salts, ammonia, chlorine, alcohol,and a host of hidden or undeclared ‘aids to processing’ chemicals.

Smithfield Foods Inc. said Thursday that its fiscal second-quarter earnings slid 16 percent, as costs climbed. The pork producer also faced a tough comparison with last year’s quarter, when market factors enabled it to boost prices.
