Nestle sold off its chocolate roaster and grinder divisions to Cargill long ago, in anticipation of political fall- out over the known and pervasive child slave labor issue. To be “investigating” it now is not only insincere and inauthentic, but culpably fraudulent, if not overtly criminal, in premeditated intent.

The world’s biggest food company, Nestle SA, announced Monday it will work with a nonprofit group to investigate child labor on Ivory Coast cocoa farms that supply its factories, a new approach to a problem that has tarnished the industry for years.
