I can remember quite distinctly, in the 1960′s, the propaganda of the Big Pharma spin machine claiming they were near a “Cure” for African Sleeping Sickness.
What? (Note Sarcasm)
Was Big Pharma wrong? These claims where FIFTY years ago.
No, they flat-out lied!
I even remember the United Nations UNICEF Program further propagandizing these Big Pharma claims, by telling school children to go collect coins (sanction by public schools) to “turn in”, to help the effected kids in Africa.
Not dissimilar from propaganda WWII war effort drives and fabricated shortages and rationing.
You see, Big Pharma has absolutely NO intention of curing anything, note the word chosen in the attached article “treatment”.
John LeCarrie’s fictional book and movie THE CONSTANT GARDNER is deadly accurate, where Big Pharma creates diseases to then sell “treatments”. Documented fact, not fiction.
Ask yourself a simple question, if Big Pharma where doing so much good, as they continue to spin and lie about, how comes there are MORE disease now, and far more sick than even 30 years ago?
Invariably the simplest answer tends to be the correct one.
I guess all these so-called drug break throughs, are indeed FRAUDS, criminal frauds.
As a matter of FACT, this is not my observation, or opinion; the vast majority of domestic and global drug companies are self admitted convicted “criminal organization” under US Department Of Justice Consent Decree Orders.
That is correct, if you are purchasing prescription drugs, you are buying from consumer fraudsters, criminals, and mass murderers.
Watch THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DRUG COMPANIES by Dr. Marcia Angell, MD, retired Editor and Chief of The New England JOURNAL Of Medicine, on the front page or this website.
The proof that consumers are learning of this massive wholesale fraud and criminal activity from Big Pharma is found in over twelve thousand lay offs, in the last week alone, from Big Pharma, domestically and globally.
Sick care and Big Pharma are out to rip you off and harm or kill you.

Researchers at Umeå University have identified drugs targeting infections of the parasite Trypanosoma brucei and are thereby well on the way to find a cure against African sleeping sickness. This is the kernel of a thesis, which will be publicly defended on 8 November 2013.
